5717 Picardy dubbed "The Castle", was designed by W.W. Dixon for R.C. Hillen, the well known builder, as part of his Normandy Garden Homes development. The homes on Picardy Drive known as "Hillen's Modest Mansions of 1926", we designed to replicate the French, English and Norman architecture of Europe.

The Castle with its towers and turrets is at the center of the drive with a view that extends to almost all of Normandy Gardens. Entering through the heavy oak door from the outside into the "stone-walled" entry hall, is like stepping into another time and place. The French-Gothic ceiling with hewn beams and massive fireplace is a dramatic reminder of castles from Europe.

Recently converted from a triplex to a three unit condominium, 5717 Picardy Drive is the first unit to come on the market.
